Ukraine reveals Russia's new Geran-5 jet drone capable of 600 km/h
Ukraine’s military intelligence has revealed the characteristics of a new Russian unmanned aerial vehicle — the Geran-5 strike drone, equipped with a jet engine and capable of speeds up to 600 km/h, according to Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR).

The Geran-5 is a faster, jet-powered Russian attack drone that could force Ukraine to rely on expensive missile interceptors instead of gun-based air defenses.
The Geran-5 features US parts such as digital signal processors and clock generators, along with a Chinese jet engine and $8,100 modem, GUR said.
