Toronto police say a man is dead following an altercation in downtown Toronto last month. In a statement to CBC Toronto Sunday, the Toronto Police Service said the suspect and the victim became involved in a verbal altercation in the area of Front Street and University Avenue at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Dec. 28.

They say the dog and the pedestrian were struck by a vehicle. Police say the dog died at the scene and the pedestrian was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injur
The Hindustan Times reported that in a statement, the Toronto Police Service said officers responded to a missing person report late on December 19 in the Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street West area. Following an overnight search, police discovered the woman’s body inside a residence at around 6.30 am the next day.
