Our latest visit was to a mosque. And I’m still smiling. The welcome at Green Lane Mosque in Birmingham was heartfelt in every sense. Josh’s communication was on full display. He spotted the big hoover keeping those beautiful carpets clean and decided it needed a name. So he spelt it out perfectly on the alphabet tattoo on my arm. Then someone asked him where he is today. Josh calmly spelt one word: Mosque. Clear. Confident. Belonging. He took quiet time to pray. Found joy at his favourite place
