I would rather use the stick for what it was intended for: Hitting from long range But it’s a good idea to learn how to use long weapons in the clinch or grappling range At least to break out again to long range and weapon retention This is a traditional entry into the clinch range ending with a standing lock My stunt guys love it for film work Helping me with this demo is pro stuntman Matt Kadri If I was trying to do this standing lock, I would probably change the entry for more practical self
