Farmer Dan with his trusty leaf blower. When these concrete sleepers were laid the ground was very wet and unstable, this meant there were quite a few wide crevices between the sleepers. As time went on these spaces kept getting full of wee and poo which wasn’t hygienic for the horses and attracted a lot of flies. We’ve now filled all these spaces in postcrete at a cost of about £50 but it will save us so much labour time and money as it would normally take ages to dig all the wee and poo out. |
